Winter Session 2012 8/9 Week Session - January - March Welcome gymnasts! To new families, we wish to welcome you to the Barrie Kempettes Gymnastics Club. Our “top notch” coaches are nationally certified to provide safe supervision and instruction! We are a non-profit organization, which is not affiliated with the City of Barrie or funded by the government.
GO/BKGC Administration Fees-$34 (non-refundable/non-transferable): Each member must pay this fee at time of registration in order to participate in any of our gymnastics programs. This is a requirement as set out by Gymnastics Ontario and the Board of Directors. This fee is collected by the Club on behalf of Gymnastics Ontario. This is an annual membership commencing July 01/11 to June 30/12 and is non-refundable, non-transferable. If your child was registered for one of our Summer & Fall 2011 programs, you have already paid this fee and not required to do so again.
Fundraiser - $40 (no-refundable/non-transferable): We are constantly striving to keep our registration fees as low as possible, but our costs are substantial. We require each member to participate in one mandatory fundraiser per year. This must be paid for at the time of registration. Each new member will be purchasing 2 Kash for Kempettes Tickets at $20.00 each. You will have the choice to take the tickets away with you, re-sell them, and re-cover your $40 or, you may put your name on the tickets and hope you win 1 of 4 Cash Prizes. Further details on tickets. Fundraisers are mandatory and will be waived for the 3rd child and on.
Sibling Discount: A 10% sibling discount will be applied on 2 or more children and will be based on the lowest program fee. Family discounts do not apply to pro-rated fees or day camps.
Age Restrictions: Children must be the correct age for the selected program by February 1, 2012. A birth certificate may be requested to verify the child’s age. Please, we encourage everyone to support us on this matter and do not send any nut products with your child to the gym.
Transfer Fees: A $25 Transfer Fee will be charged should you wish to switch program dates/times one week prior to the start of the program. This must be paid for prior to your child being moved.
Refund Policy: (GO/BKGC Admin Fees/Fundraisers are non-refundable): For Fall, Winter, Spring & Summer Evening Programs, you will receive a full refund less a $25.00 administration fee if your request is received in the main office, in writing, 1 week prior to the start of the first class. If you decide to cancel less than 1 week before the first class, you will receive a 50% refund of the program cost. No refunds will be issued once the 2nd class has started. Classes may be cancelled due to low registration. You will be offered a full refund, a transfer into another class based on its availability or a credit note. Once programs have started, if final registration numbers are insufficient to continue running the program, you will be given the choice to switch into another time slot/day or accept a credit note/refund for the program fee only, that will be pro-rated. We cannot make up classes or issue refunds/credit notes that are cancelled due to inclement weather or for reasons beyond our control. If you are canceling due to medical reasons, a written note accompanied by a doctor’s note must be submitted to the main office in order to receive a pro-rated refund of the program cost and must be received prior to the completion of the current session in which you are registered for. Medical refunds are based on the date your written notice is received, not back to the last day the child attended class. No credits or refunds will be issued for missed classes.
